A key benefit of the myBMP program is its alignment with six international sustainability initiatives, including Better Cotton. In 2014, Cotton Australia signed a landmark agreement that allows cotton grown on myBMP-accredited farms to be sold internationally as 'Better Cotton.' Better Cotton is the largest cotton sustainability program globally, accounting for 22% of global cotton production in 2023.
